The Monetary Price of Forgetting

Three things:

1. I have mastitis. I'm dying. We're talking head to toe aches, feel like I was hit by a car, my skin hurts to pull the sheets over type of aching. Now, I'm no wuss. This is a woman who's gone through three completely natural childbirths, one of which was pretty complicated. Trust me when I say simply, "I hurt".

2. Atticus is in the 97th %tile for height. Where the heck did that come from?

3. Andy and I let adding Att to the insurance slip through the cracks until this morning. Andy called and was told we'd had the first 60 days after his birth to add him. He's 63 days old today. I'm thinking you can guess what kind of grace insurance companies give for the 3 day difference. Thus far the price of forgetting to do this has cost us well over $200. We're switching over insurances on November 1 and should be able to add him then. Until that time we're just praying he doesn't get too sick!

Those of you who know me realize we couldn't get away w/a subject like mastitis w/out at least one gross picture. The following shows a goat where half the udder has fallen off b/c of mastitis! Oh poor, poor, miserable creature!

OMG! That picture makes my breasts hurt! Ok, seriously tackle that mastitis with garlic. Tons and tons of garlic! And you can also put cabbage leaves in your bra. I know it sounds weird, but it is suppose to draw out the infection and help relieve the pain. Oh so miserable! Praying it is gone quickly.

I told Andy I thought the cabbage leaves would work! I feel vendicated by Christina. Dad and I are praying for you. Poor Baby! (You ~ Atticus too, of 'course!)

Seeing the picture I gotta ask ~ you haven't 'lost' anything yet, have you?! JK!
