Andy: "Some kids don't even have dads."
Gid: "If they don't have a dad how do they make the baby?"
Andy explains how some dads don't stick around to be there b/c they get scared or they don't keep their commitment and so leave their wife.
Gid: "Yeah, I think I'm gonna have Tatum as a girlfriend when I'm done with Summer."

The Talk

Gid: "Mom, you're not the prettiest girl in the world."
Me: "Fair enough."
Gid: "Now, I think any girl can be the prettiest girl. It's just, you don't dress the right way."
I then received a list of things I could improve: perhaps some high heels, more flowers, lace is nice, some sparkles, wear skirts, look into some pink and purple, and of course some make up would do me more than a little bit of good.
I guess I should have seen this coming when he showed such a keen interest in Dancing With the Stars.
