There's much ado about poos (poodle mixes, yo) and folks are paying anywhere from $1,000 to $5,000 for some of these little guys. I'm excited about getting Arlo, my sweet golden/labradoodle (the exact identity of Daddy-o is in question) in less than a week. I'm very proud to say my boy is an adoption from a purebred poodle who was (irresponsibly) unspayed and allowed to roam. Someone saw her with what they think is a labrador retriever and the local shelter got seven new pups from the deal. This quiz represents my take on buying from a breeder vs adopting a homeless pet.
